Work

Turning AI into things people can actually use.

I’m a forward-deployed AI software engineer at Threekit, with an M.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from Notre Dame. I work between clients and code: figuring out what people actually need, then building it.

§01Experience

Where I’ve been building.

  1. Nov 2025 – Present

    AI Software Engineer (Forward-Deployed)

    Threekit · Chicago, IL

Forward-deployed engineer on high-stakes client work: I join client meetings to scope requirements, then build and ship the solution.

    • Built and owned the pre-sales demo solo that helped close a ~$500K ARR account, and now serve as technical lead on that relationship.
    • Build AI-powered product discovery: embedding pipelines for AI search, configurable product logic, and real-time image recognition.
    • Engineer CPQ/CRM features on a multi-tenant Postgres platform, from schema and migrations to OAuth and role-scoped permissions, plus CI/CD and releases on Cloud Run and Cloudflare.
  2. Jun 2025 – Oct 2025

    Management Trainee

    McMaster-Carr · Elmhurst, IL

Used LLMs and data to improve product compatibility across McMaster-Carr’s online catalog.

    • Scaled compatibility frameworks across 1,000,000+ product pairs with SQL, Python, and the ChatGPT API.
    • Cut runtime and API costs ~60x (hours to minutes) by replacing repeated LLM calls with tabling and scripting.
  3. Jun 2024 – Aug 2024

    Software Engineering Intern

Northrop Grumman · Rolling Meadows, IL

Shipped a new signal-processing capability to production within a three-month internship.

    • Implemented it in C++ for a large-scale defense system, updating configurations to ease integration of new signal types.
    • Validated it through hardware-in-the-loop testing, and wrote the documentation and architecture diagrams.
  4. Dec 2023 – Apr 2024

    Platinum Data Specialist

Outlier (Platinum Coders Team) · Remote

Reviewed and refined AI-generated code to improve model accuracy.

    • Wrote sample answers and refined solutions across SQL, Python, Java, C, C++, Go, Bash, HTML, and JavaScript.
  5. Jan 2023 – May 2025

Undergraduate TA (Data Structures) · Graduate TA (VFX, Operating Systems)

University of Notre Dame · Notre Dame, IN

Office hours and one-on-one debugging help for 130+ students.

    • Topics ranged from recursion, hash tables, and dynamic programming to process scheduling, memory management, and Maya rendering pipelines.

Founder · Full-stack developer · Jul 2026 – Present

  • Next.js
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • Expo
  • React Native
  • PostgreSQL
  • Supabase

Unreleased Social Platform

Independently building and shipping a full-stack social platform across web and mobile: profiles, social connections, events, maps, messaging, and user-generated content.

What I did
  • Developed 100+ Next.js/React/TypeScript web modules and an Expo/React Native mobile client, owning UI/UX, authentication, protected routes, interactive maps, and location-based discovery.
  • Architected a normalized PostgreSQL backend in Supabase with 55+ related tables, foreign-key integrity, many-to-many relationships, and Row Level Security.
  • Built repeatable CSV seed and import pipelines supporting multiple clients.

02

Machine learning · Music · Jan – Apr 2025

  • TensorFlow
  • LSTM
  • MusicXML

Deep Learning MusicXML Generator

An LSTM model trained on Bach datasets that generates four-part musical scores.

What I did
  • Built an LSTM-based model in TensorFlow that generates four-part scores from Bach datasets.
Results
Structured MusicXML outputs with accurate pitch and rhythm.

03

WebGL · Graphics · Apr 2023

  • WebGL

Two-Player 3D Chess

An interactive 3D chess game built in WebGL.

What I did
  • Individually implemented movement animation, legal-move highlighting, and click-based piece interaction integrated with 3D camera controls.
  • Built the board’s lighting, shading, and texturing.

§04Technical experiments

Small things, built to find out.

Prototypes and side experiments live in the Sandbox.

CompletedNov – Dec 2023

Irish Traditional Tune Set Finder

Finds compatible Irish traditional tunes for performance sets. TF-IDF vectorization and k-means clustering (visualized with PCA) group tunes by musical similarity, and a logistic regression classifier predicts tune type (jig, reel, polka…) from ABC notation sourced from thesession.org.
